Our Focus
To help the Agua Caliente Tribe of Cupeno Indians honor and preserve their history. To protect their culture, their language, and their sacred traditions, including the indigenous burning of aboriginal land to not only protect its ecosystem but to help teach others the traditional ways. To aid in the application of re-instatement for Federal Recognition. To Provide financial assistance and available resources to members to help keep the native community healthy and thriving which in turn helps the whole community to thrive.
Our Mission
- · To develop educational programs through creative pathways of knowledge that will help protect and preserve the Agua Caliente Cupeno culture, traditions, and language.
- ·To support the Tribe financially and/or provide resources that aid in Federal Acknowledgment Re-instatement.
- To work with California Forest Service Management to teach native ways of traditional indigenous burning of sacred lands to help prevent disastrous forest fires.
